I am a Danish artist activist and I will have a solo exhibition "DARKNESS AND LIGHT" in Amsterdam at the politically engaged Gallery Foundation/Stichting WHAT ART CAN DO.

My artworks are centered on conflict, refugees, poverty, including the war in Ukraine and Syria, and social political issues juxtaposed against dreams of happiness. I worked for the World Bank on education across the world, so I feel passionate about helping less fortunate people-kids.

ALL sales of my artworks will benefit the Dutch Refugee Council. Opening will take place on Friday October 6 from 17.00 in Amsterdam, Tweede Tuindwarsstraat 4, 1015 RZ.

The Dutch Council for Refugees (VluchtelingenWerk Nederland) supports refugees and asylum seekers from the moment of their arrival in the Netherlands until they have found their way independently.

In addition to personal support with the asylum procedure and showing refugees the way in our society, the Dutch Council for Refugees (VluchtelingenWerk Nederland) also represents the interests of refugees to our government. They can only do this with your support.
